Special Cirque du Soleil performance a success for Pueblito

The Pre-Performance Party was held at Caju Restaurant, 922 Queen Street West Friday, August 20 th , from 5:30 pm to 6:15 pm.

The party began with a selection of complimentary cheeses & hors d'oeuvres.

Sharron Riley-Persson, Interim Executive Director welcomed the group of over 100 supporters and introduced Ms. Betty Ann Taylor, Pueblito's President of the Board. Betty Ann delivered a welcome address and spoke about her involvement with Pueblito and her visit to our program in Mexico.

Ms. Ladisu Lago formerly TLN host then made the special presentation of Pueblito's 2 nd annual Making Children A Priority Award to 2003 recipient, Mr. Neeraj Sharma.

Many of the Pre-Performance Party remained at Caju for dinner and then off to the incredible performance of the Cirque du Soleil's Alegria.

Pueblito sold 617 tickets to the August 20 th performance and all proceeds went to Pueblito's programs.
