Pueblito Canada is a Non Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to providing quality, inclusive Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs and services for young children in poor communities in Latin America . Working in partnership with local NGO's, Pueblito provides capacity building and financial assistance to develop culturally appropriate, innovative ECD programs that benefit children directly. At the same time, we involve and mobilize the family and community. Within the field of ECD, Pueblito facilitates the exchange of knowledge among partners in the South and between partners from North to South. We engage in and support related advocacy work in Canada and Latin America.

Internship/Placement opportunities are available for students interested in learning about our work in Latin America and making a contribution to our organization in our Toronto office. Time frames and specific tasks are worked out on an individual basis based on the framework below. Pueblito provides no financial support for placements: students are responsible for all expenses incurred. In some cases students may apply for federal grants through the youth programs of CIDA, as well as other funding mechanisms.
